Prior to opening WHINS in 2009, Darren has worked as a sales executive in the insurance industry starting out at 21st Century and continuing at American International Group, Inc. As an independent agent Darren is able to work on behalf of his clients providing them with a choice of insurance programs to suit their needs. Darren believes that serving his clients is of the utmost importance as well as serving the community. He is an active member of the Encino Chamber of Commerce as well as supporting a number of youth organizations. Darren currently resides in Santa Monica, California with his English Bulldog, “Oliver”.

Before partnering with Darren Hasson and opening up WHINS, Joel worked for a number of multinational companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment and Westfield Corporation. He is currently in process of completing his Certified Insurance Professional (CIC) designation and focuses on professional liability insurance at WHINS. Joel met his wife, Chinh, in 2004 while traveling in Vietnam. Joel, Chinh and their daughter Elizabeth currently reside in Encino, CA.
